About BasePlate Generator

BasePlate Generator is a small, focused tool for people who fabricate steel structures: enter a plate size and a hole pattern, and get back an exact, 1:1 scale drilling template as PDF or SVG that you can print, cut out and use directly against the steel.

Why 1:1 scale matters

A drilling template is only useful if it is dimensionally exact. Every measurement in BasePlate Generator is calculated in real millimetres and exported using true physical units, in both the SVG file and the PDF page geometry - not scaled to fit a page.

What this tool is not

BasePlate Generator produces geometry and printable layouts. It does not perform structural design, anchor bolt load calculations, or any form of engineering analysis, and it does not replace review by a qualified engineer where that is required for your project.

BasePlate Generator is developed and maintained by MAPROG EIRL, a Chilean software development, business systems and process automation company founded in 2020.
